Rainforests of the World

Biodiversity is an exceptionally serious issue that is keeping the entire world busy. That’s why, CCJ, within the ISA project, has chosen biodiversity as the chief theme of our scholastic year 2010-2011. In grade 11 Sc and SE, we have been working on the following subtopic: “Rainforests”. We have been divided into several groups; each presented a PowerPoint presentation/movie tackling a distinctive rainforest: its climate, structure and overall beauty. It has been a rewarding activity, and we are, without a doubt, looking forward for finishing our dioramas for the Biodiversity Exhibition in May. We hope that people can learn how to treasure their rainforests once again!
